Colorado State University

Partnering with the Colorado State Music Therapy department we do an annual spring time musical event for Chase the Music. anywhere from 8 to 15 musical premieres.

eTown

A great Boulder venue, housed in a beautiful setting just between residential neighborhoods and the famous Pearl Street Mall. Seating for about 220, this venue not only has incredible acoustics but they host intimate singer/songwriter events in the basement. Studio and greenroom space make this a great location for a Chase the Music event.

Determined

When Fort Collins singer/songwriter Molly Taylor told Jamin that she’d be writing a Chase the Music song for him, he replied – “Don’t write a song for me, write for someone who’s really sick”. Molly took that as inspiration and wrote “Determined” a song not just for Jamin but also from him as a gift to those others…

Lyrics:

Elena’s Song

This is Elena’s Song She likes to dance along We play music and so does she Showin’ off her musicality Elena She loves all of the Disney movies Tangled, Frozen, and Inside Out She’s like a real life movie star Knowing all the lines to them all! This is Elena’s Song She likes to dance along We play music and so does she Showin’ off her musicality She’s a warrior like Mulan No matter what troubles come her way She’s got her family and friends to help her And with her Kirby Cat, she’ll do it all! Hey Elena You can do anything That you put your mind to No one can stop you If you think you can We know you can Be who you wanna be! La la la la la la Elena You’ve got a smile so bright That it lights up the room La la la la la la Elena No matter what you do Your family’s proud of you This is Elena’s Song She likes to dance along We play music and so does she Showin’ off her musicality (2x) This is Elena’s Song She likes to dance along We play music and so does she Showin’ off her musicality (3x)
